Some have a notion there may be something beyond this life, few are really sure.
We really should look beyond the life insurance which will look after our loved ones once we have gone. The question is who is going to look after you when you have gone?
If you don’t know what is going to happen to you after you die you really do need to be thinking about this much more than you are right now!
You may not understand this and you may not want to hear this but whether you believe it or not, you get to exist forever, for all eternity. Eternity is so vast our little minds cannot comprehend something so big. Our typical 70-80 years full of amazing stories and adventures and relationships and memories, so beautiful and detailed, each one of us has an amazing story to tell of all our experiences in the vast tapestry of life while we are alive. Yet all that time is just a blip of time compared to the length of how you long you will be. Even just 1 million years equates to well over 14,000 of our average lifetimes. Eternity is unending so after the first million you get millions more years.
Why is this important, and if I’m going to be around forever anyway why should I care now?
The reason why we need to consider this is that there is a choice to be made which can only be made in this life. All of us have heard of Heaven, most of us would probably say if there is such a place as Heaven we think that we will go there.
The question, is there really such a place as Heaven? Begs a much greater question “Who does actually go to Heaven?” …
Who goes to Heaven?
Where are we going?
Looking at life from the perspective of eternity.
How do our seemingly insignificant lives fit into the vastness of time, space and eternity.
We all expect to die someday, most dread the thought of it and we really don't want to talk about it and surely it must be the worst thing that can happen to us.
We put the thought of dying out of our minds as far we can.
Most have a fixed mindset - we are born, we live and we die and that’s it.
